Flagstaff paralegal advice centre in partnership with the independent development trust (IDT), has created a total of 109 & 139 job opportunities between 2024/25 & 2025/26 respectively. These job opportunities have been created as a means of poverty alleviation within families from communities around Ingquza Hill Local Municipality.
Another aim of this project is to strengthen skills development, promote economic growth and economic activity & address the high rate of youth unemployment. There is a GBVF empowerment program which aims to empower individuals to be able to stand in court and give their own testimonies and horrific experiences. Other programs include art and crafts, cleaning and beautification of public spaces & food security.
